The ifex-hospitality.com Site is managed by IFEX Indonesia, along with its host, PT Dyandra Promosindo, including its subsidiaries and affiliated companies (“We”, “Us”, “Our”, “IFEX” or “Dyandra”). By accessing and/or using any part of the Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) and other Terms and Conditions in relation to the Site as referred to in these Terms, whether expressly stated here in or stated outside these Terms but which otherwise provides references to these Terms. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms, you may not access or use any part of the Site. These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you as a user (“You” or “User”) and IFEX. You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to use the Site.
Please note that We may change, modify, add, and delete these Terms at any time when necessary to comply with any law or regulation binding on us or to reflect a change in Our operational practices. We will use reasonable endeavors to provide notice of material changes on the Site. Please check these Terms regularly to ensure your compliance with the current version. By continuing to use any part of the Site after such changes to these Terms, You hereby agree and consent to these changes and their application to You.
If You use any of Our other services, your use of them is subject to the Terms and Conditions applicable to such services, which will be made available to you when you use those other services.
1.1. IFEX Hospitality Site enables You to browse and reserve hotel accommodation with Our Hotel Partners, as well as gaining information regarding booking transportation services (such as taxis or car rentals), including use the available payment methods related there to (“Services”). Additionally, you can find and get directions to the nearby money changers and malls in Jakarta. Please note that We reserve the right to refuse bookings that do not comply with these Terms and the prevailing laws and regulations.
1.2. Although We will use Our expertise with caution in performing the Services, We do not verify, and do not guarantee, that all information provided that is available on the Site is accurate, complete, correct or the latest available. This includes any information displayed on the Site regarding the products or services offered, such as hotel room types, availability of room facilities and amenities, transportation options, vehicle specifications and ride options, and pricing. Changes in market conditions or circumstances may lead to rapid updates, potentially rendering the information temporarily inaccurate or inapplicable. If you encounter any issues, please contact IFEX’s Customer Service for assistance.
1.3. We reserve the right to reject or cancel booking reservations for various reasons, including but not limited to breaches of our terms, legal restrictions, fraud suspicions, inaccurate information, technical issues, or inappropriate behavior.
1.4. In cases of a significant error on Our part, We may cancel or reject reservations. This applies to mistakes that no reasonable person would consider appropriate or sensible for our business. Any charges will be refunded without additional fees.
1.5. All payments for booking or reservation services must be made directly to IFEX’s designated bank account or through IFEX’s authorized payment methods. Unless specified in a separate agreement between IFEX and the relevant Hotel, all payments are considered the property of IFEX. The relevant Hotel will receive their due amount upon the provision of the services or at another applicable time as determined by the Hotel. Please note that IFEX cannot guarantee the validity of a reservation if the payment is not made directly to IFEX’s bank account or through IFEX’s authorized payment methods.
2.1. By making a booking or reservation through the Site, you acknowledge and agree to comply with the Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions may encompass a range of matters, including policies related to cancellations, or no-shows. Please be aware that IFEX, as the platform facilitating your transaction, is not liable for any violations of these Terms and Conditions or any complications arising from your specific requests that are directly communicated by User to the Hotel and not communicated to the IFEX team.
2.2 With regard to refunds, including credit card chargebacks, and subject to any legal rights you may have, IFEX reserves the right to withhold or deduct a portion of the amount paid to cover reasonable costs incurred in connection with the cancellation.
3.1. In the event of any special requests (for example, but without limitation: smoking / non-smoking rooms, rooms to be easily accessible by wheelchair, wheelchair assistance for people with disabilities at the hotel, change of name, change of date, and other additional facilities and amenities requested), the User can insert the request when making a booking on the Site. If the User contacts the Hotel directly without communicating the special requests to the IFEX team, IFEX is not responsible for the availability and/or fulfilment of your special requests by the Hotel. Your special requests may be subject to additional charges and/or fees by the relevant Hotel based on the discretion and/or policy of the relevant Hotel.
3.2. For any rescheduling and/or modification and/or reservation changes by User (including but not limited to changes in dates, room upgrades, additions/add-ons) made directly through to the Hotel, IFEX is not responsible directly or indirectly for matters relating to rescheduling and/or modifications and/or changes to Your reservation, including but not limited to:
3.2.1 notifying your modified or rescheduled or amended reservation and/or booking information directly through the Hotel; or
3.2.2 any loss, claim or any legal consequences arising from rescheduling and/or modification and/or changes to your reservation made directly through the Hotel and/or Hotel.
4.1. The prices listed on the Site are subject to specific conditions and may vary based on factors like booking availability and duration. Additional charges, including taxes, may apply, and certain services may have separate fees (e.g., tips, facility charges). You are responsible for verifying the total cost and details upon receiving the confirmation email. You may cancel the booking before final confirmation. Please note that any additional costs due to the use of credit cards or interbank fees will be charged to you. In case of payment discrepancies, IFEX will notify you via email. If you cancel before full payment, IFEX may refund the amount paid minus reasonable costs incurred. For service inquiries, contact IFEX customer service. Cancellations will be assessed based on applicable laws, IFEX and the Hotel’s policies. Upon successful verification, refunds may be issued in cash or electronic vouchers. Please note that processing fees, interbank transfer fees, and credit card fees may apply. Refunds may not be immediate and may incur additional fees depending on your initial payment method. If applicable, refunds will be processed through credit card chargeback upon request.
4.2 Refunds for transactions made through bank transfers will be returned to the payer’s bank account based on the payment transfer made by the payer and/or to the bank account specified by the payer through the payment refund form.
4.3 Refunds for payment transactions using credit cards will be returned to the payer’s credit card limit according to the time period determined by each bank.
4.4 You can contact IFEX customer service for further details on the estimated duration for receiving your refund.
4.5 IFEX will not be responsible or liable for any issuance of bookings, or other transactions that are aborted due to inaccurate amounts transferred by or payments that are not made through the official payment methods available on the IFEX Site. Any transfers made beyond the time limit for transfers will result in the booking being cancelled. After completing the interbank transfer, please confirm your payment by filling in the payment confirmation form.
5.1 Please note that all prices for Hotel reservations provided through Our Site (the “Hotel Prices”) are based on your selections, such as for the requested period of stay and number of guests, unless otherwise specified. Hotel Prices are quoted per room and per night, unless otherwise specified. You are responsible for verifying whether your selection and any additional requests or services are reflected in the price displayed on the Site (please refer to more details listed under “Hotel Information”, “Requirements Booking”, “Cancellation Policy” and otherwise, or similar headings on the Site). Any additional expenses that may be incurred during a hotel stay (“Resort Fee”) beyond the base room rate, other mandatory costs, and local taxes, tourist, or occupancy charges (if any), will be paid by you and are usually not considered in the Hotel Prices unless otherwise stated. Insurance of any kind is not included in the Hotel Prices, unless otherwise stated. The standard hotel room reservation is for one or two guests; an additional charge will usually be required for an extra bed. The Hotel can refuse to accept additional guests if not notified in advance.
5.2 Please note that some Hotels may charge you a Resort Fee but may require additional charges (or the like) to use certain services. The Resort Fee is usually not included in the Hotel Prices. You may also be charged directly by the Hotel for products and services including but not limited to: energy surcharge, baggage handling fees, the cost of delivery of newspapers, in-room security costs, travel/tour fees, or the cost for cleaning the rooms under extraordinary circumstances. This practice of additional hotel charges is beyond IFEX’s control.
5.3 Optional incidental expenses and personal consumption charges (such as those incurred during the Hotel stay) are not usually included in the Hotel Price. Such charges include but are not limited to: parking fees, in-room minibar charges, telephone charges, room service, food and beverage costs.
5.4 IFEX Hospitality Site does not arrange any transport and is not responsible for such transport service. We only provide information regarding available transportation services. You agree that IFEX is not responsible for the quality, safety, frequency or service level of the transportation services, and for any loss or damage that may result from the use of such transportation services.
5.5 In some jurisdictions, Hotels may be required by law to directly collect occupancy tax or local city tax from guests. Government authorities may also declare additional taxes and may require the Hotel to collect such taxes directly. You agree to pay any and all of such taxes/costs to the Hotel directly upon checkout, unless otherwise specified. If you have any questions, please contact the Hotel or IFEX customer service regarding any additional costs that may be included in the Hotel Price.
6.1 Payments are made in the amount and currency as stated, not including bank fees or any other charges by IFEX.
6.2 All forms of taxation and levies, in accordance with the provisions of the applicable tax laws and regulations, shall be the responsibility of the User.
6.3 For all forms of reservations, You must make payment within the specified time limit. If the payment is not made, then IFEX reserves the right to cancel all reservations or to disregard the reservations process.
6.4 Payment methods include but are not limited to bank transfer and credit card. For payment by bank transfer, you must provide the bank transfer receipt as proof of payment of reservations listed in the IFEX confirmation email. You must follow the procedures contained in the confirmation email.
6.5 For other payment methods such as credit card, you must follow the procedures stated by IFEX and/or the relevant payment service provider.
6.6 After You make full payment, IFEX will place the order and issue a reservation code, which will be accompanied by:
6.6.1 Booking Code;
6.6.2 Customer Name;
6.6.3 Number Booking;
6.6.4 Booking Details; and
6.6.5 Phone Number/Extension.
7.1 For payment of bookings placed through the Site, your credit card will be billed by IFEX for the full price at the time of booking and confirmation of the booking (any refund that may be given will depend on the conditions of the existing reservations). You must check the booking details thoroughly before You make a reservation. For certain reservations, you may have to pay the Hotel directly. In order to safeguard and encrypt your credit card information when in transit to us, We may use encryption technology such as Transport Layer Security (TLS) or Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to ensure the integrity of your information.
7.2 In the case of credit card fraud or unauthorized use of your credit card by a third party, You must contact your bank or card issuer immediately after realizing such unauthorized use. In such a case, IFEX has no responsibility over any case of credit card fraud or unauthorized use of your credit card by a third party, regardless of whether such fraud or unauthorized use was carried out through IFEX services other than where this arose from the fraud or actually proven to be any deliberate act or mistake from IFEX. Except as otherwise provided by law, IFEX is not obliged to make refunds or repayments to You as a result of such fraud. As part of Our goodwill, We may provide a form of compensation to You subject to review and approval by Us. You shall only be eligible to request compensation only if such reservations have been made through Our secure servers and the fraud or unauthorized use of your credit card is a result of Our default or negligence and through no fault of your own while using the secure server or You are otherwise entitled by law to be compensated. We accept no liability of the fraud or unauthorized use of your credit card if it was done through applications or servers other than Our own or if it is as a result of a fault or negligence of your own. If You suspect any unauthorized reservations or fraud committed on IFEX, You must contact IFEX customer service immediately.
7.3 To make a reservation You must be aged over eighteen (18) years old and have full legal capacity to make the transaction (or have authorization from your legal guardian). You must use a credit or debit card that you own, issued in your name, and make sure that there are sufficient funds to cover the transaction costs. Any fees incurred by You for authorizing a transaction that results in an over-drawing of your account are not the responsibility of IFEX.
7.4 You shall ensure that the details You provide to us are completely accurate. IFEX reserves the right to not accept certain credit cards. IFEX can add or remove other payment methods at Our sole discretion.
7.5 In certain cases, We may require additional information or verification to validate and confirm the booking, as described in more detail on the Site. Reservations are not confirmed until You have received a confirmation email with an e-ticket or voucher and there is the possibility that the Hotel can implement fraud examination mechanisms during the booking process. If fraud occurs or is determined to occur, then the booking will be void. IFEX shall not bear any responsibility for such cancellations by the Hotel. If You choose not to submit additional information, reservations will not be completed and will be voided.
8.1 IFEX respects User confidentiality. IFEX will endeavour to comply with the requirements of relevant data protection laws when performing its obligations under these Terms. 9.1 IFEX shall not be liable for any non-performance or violation of these Terms, such as for transaction failure, restricted access to the Site, or any damage or harm to users caused by any act or condition beyond the reasonable control of either you or us (“Force Majeure Event”). Force Majeure Events include but are not limited to natural disaster (floods, earthquakes), epidemic/pandemic, riot, a declaration of war, war, military action, terrorist action, embargo, sanctions, changes in laws or regulations, lightning, hurricanes/typhoons/cyclones, labor strikes, demonstrations, airline or hotel bankruptcy or insolvency, and cyber-attacks.
9.2 IFEX will not be responsible for any damage or loss caused in any way to any party if IFEX is unable to process your order due to a Force Majeure Event.
